Samuel Whitelock – Our Tallest Guest Ever!
Between Two Beers Newsletter
Sam Whitelock is one of the most accomplished rugby players in history.
He's the most capped All Black in history with 153 caps. He went to four Rugby World Cups and won two. He also played in 181 Super Rugby Games and won seven titles with the Crusaders.
Throughout his career, he was intentionally blunt and “played it straight” with the media, so we tried to loosen him up opening with some excerpts from his mum’s hilarious interview with the NZ Herald.
Our tallest guest ever!
We also talk about:
How he approached leadership with both the All Blacks and Crusaders
His bromance with Kieran Read and searching for Harry Potter wands on All Blacks
Some of the most difficult moments of his career
And retiring from rugby and what life looks like now
We are excited to be able to share a look into the mind and personality of our most capped All Black of all time.
