The Five-Year Ride - Behind the Pod

Today we spent the morning prepping for our first ever live show - to celebrate our 5th birthday.

It was a fun morning, full of reflection and laughs - and relief from a stressful and busy few weeks.

We're both really proud of how the event is coming together.

We're proud of the five-year ride, the people that have supported us along the way, and all those that are travelling great distances to share the night with us tomorrow.

And we're proud of the epic guest list that have put their hands up to be involved on short notice.

There have been two episodes of Between Two Beers that have fired up our inboxes like no others - and we can't wait to share the stage with Jason Gunn and Mark Stafford.

There's a woman who was the catalyst for taking us outside of our comfort zone, and also happens to be one of NZ's most popular podcasters - and we're bravely welcoming Sexologist Morgan Penn to make us squirm in our seats again tomorrow.

And our final guest first joined us for a chat in 2020 when we were a part-time football show, with no audience and no cameras. Matt Heath was a hero to us, and someone we still look up to. But today - he's a mate. 

What a ride.
